Joschka J. Proksik
Vita

Joschka J. Proksik studied political science at the University of Hamburg (B.A). He later earned a Masters in “International Administration and Conflict Management” at the University of Konstanz and a Masters in “International Relations, Security and Development” at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is a research fellow and PhD candidate at the Department of Politics and Administration, University of Konstanz. His research areas include international peace operations, state-building, security sector reforms, organized crime, state capture, international law enforcement and post-conflict spoiler management. His current research project is entitled “International Peace Operations and Organized Crime: The Case of Kosovo,” funded by Center of Excellence "Cultural Foundations of Social Integration" (EXC16). Since 2009, he has made several research trips to Kosovo and to the United Nations headquarters, where he has conducted numerous expert interviews. Since 2014, he works as an undergraduate lecturer at the Department of Politics and Administration at the University of Konstanz. Since April 2016, he is the stand-in coordinator of the Master program "International Administration and Conflict Management" (IACM).
