2002 Ph.D. at the Universität Regensburg with a thesis about the secularization of matrimonial law in Bavaria; 2004 Publication of the Ph.D. thesis by Duncker & Humblot with a grant for the printing costs from the VG Wort.

1997–2007 Research Assistant at the chairs of Prof. Dr. Dr. h. c. D. Schwab and Prof. Dr. S. Hofer.

History of law (modern times), especially history of family law and its connections with other disciplines of History and Culture Sciences.
